hi

i have a security light at the back of my house and it flashes on and off all night long, its like a strobe! can someone explain to me what the settings for the pir mean/should be.

it has 2 settings on it, one is a clock which has T and + and the other is a sun which has T and a moon. i assume distance is adjusted by tilting the pir up and down.

how can i get the settings just right? there is a tree not far away from it (15 feet) and i think the leaves blowing in the wind set it off!

The clock one is T for time, set somewhere between 10 secs minimum and 20 minutes maximum

The sun T is test, dont leave it on that,or it will work in daylight, the nearer the moon symbol the darker it will activate, so set that quite high near the moon symbol.

what do the instructions say?

a guess T is for test

the one with a clock is for time (how long its on for)

The one with sun and moon determines how dark before it comes on

it's just a case of aiming the sensor better.. or cutting the tree down..

a fence in front of the tree and some carefull aiming might help..

as does tape on the lense.. as a mask to block off areas you don't want to target..
