I'm about to fit a new single pane of glass in a back door and want to use glazing sealant.
From what I've been told you apply the sealant all the way round the edge of the glass OR to the back of the glazing bead and then press the pane against the wooden bead.
Is this the correct procedure? How do you clean off the excess sealant that is pressed out?
I've never done this before and would appreciate some guidance.
Thanks
Hue
