Hi
I have been asked by the wife, to build some steps for our front door.
She has requested a double curved step, something like this
As it stands, the front of our house looks like this:
Underneath the gravel, is type 1 hardcore which has has been flattened using a Wacker plate.
In order to create some steps, please can someone give me a run through on what i need to do? My first guess is that i need to remove the gravel to the shape of the steps, so that i expose the type 1 hardcore. What do i do from here?
I may sound clueless, but i am pretty handy once i have an idea in my head of what i need to do.
The largest (bottom) step will be the width of the whole door frame (both glass and door width)
Many thanks for your help
Mark
