Hi all,
We're in the process of replacing an underperforming extraction fan (read all about that over at the electrics forum!).
In tackling it I've removed the existing ducting to look at what I'll need to get move from 4" to 5" ducting. I was surprised though to find that the recently installed roof tile vent is neither compatible with circular or rectangular ducting. It's hard to take a good photo of it but the aperture (when viewed from inside the loft) looks a little like this...
...and the circular ducting you see in the top picture was just vaguely duct taped next to it, but not forming a good seal.
Does anyone know what sort of tile vent that is likely to be? And whether an adaptor exists to go from standard 5" circular ducting to it.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Andy
