how to fill gaps between coving and wall

we have lined the walls but we have some small gaps between the paper and the coving
how can we sort it out?

I fill any gaps with polyfilla easy to mix/use & apply

Or decorators caulk - rub off with a wetted sponge to form a concave surface :: Nige F 1954 . You can call me grandad
