Hi all,
Quick question re a tile-over shower tray I'm installing as part of bathroom renovation...
I have a Marmox square tile-over shower tray that I'd like to put into a corner of what will be my new bathroom, unfortunately the walls of the room meet at an angle that is slightly larger than 90 degrees, I can line up one side of the shower tray with one wall but will always have a small gap (2cm maximum) on one of the sides. My question is what should I use to fill the gap?
I'm planning to use the waterproof corners and tape before then tanking the wall in usual way (though if anyone has a good youtube video for how this should be done I'd love to have a reference!), could I use ply to fill the gap between wall and tray, then tape/tank over that perhaps?
I've included a couple of pics for reference.

If possible I'd like to step the shower tray out from the wall by about 100mm (as per the second pic), in order to leave a gap for false wall containing pipes etc which will also become a shelf for bottles etc. Is this possible? What would I use between the wall and shower tray if I do this? Please tell me if this not something I should consider!
Cheers for any help, Matt
