I've got a maple hardwood moulding from wittswood.
its bridging a gap between a tiled floor (bathroom) and a laminate floor (hallway). the underfloor is concrete.
this is wittswood's recommended fitting method.

they supply a black plastic channel that is screwed into the floor and then the moulding clips into the plastic channel.
its not an ideal solution since it doesnt clip very tightly and there is a risk that moisture from the bathroom will get under the bathroom side of the moulding.
does anyone have any experience fitting this type of moulding to a concrete substrate using an adhesive?. if so what adhesive do you recommend?
ive seen some expanding foam types on this site that people use to fix window frames to brickwork. would that do the job?
any help is greatly appreciated
cheers
