How to Fix broken handle off Washing Machine

Hi, I need your help whilst my parent were away, I managed to snap off the handle of the wasing machine, so now I can't get it open. I tried regular multi-purpose superglue but it's no good obviously.

What would you suggest I do, use a stronger superglue? what about plastic cement? or can I just buy a new handle? Part of the handle is still stuck in the metal on the door.

It's quite a clean break, any advice before friday would be most helpful.

I don't want to call out a plumber for gods sake!

in todays day and age you throw it away.

get a new handle or new un broken part.
(look in yellow pages for domestic appliance spares, NOT PLUMBER)
