How to fix hazel hurdle to posts & other hazel questions

Hi all

We recently bought these items:

(but a six foot tall version of the gate)


and

(but three foot wide)

The gate should not be a problem, but I'm not sure what options there are for fixing the hurdle to the fence posts (square posts in our case)? Any ideas?


Also, we may look to add to the hazel so that it it a denser weave and more private/less see through. Does anyone know where we can get thin branches/twigs of hazel? Does it grow commonly or is it best to buy? Has the hazel on the hurdle been treated at all? Any other type of wood that would work? Any information along those lines would be great.
