Hi everyone,

Now, I know a photo would probably be better here, but I hope my crap drawing will suffice!

I have a ceiling in a loft conversion that has a curve on either side. I want to frame a new wall that is going to contain a pocket door, but I'm unsure how to proceed with making the structure sound with these curves in the way.

I have to frame about halfway down the angles roof, in order to then go backwards towards the existing wall to leave space for storage on each side.

Which would leave me with this shape:

How do I go about dealing with those curves, is there a best practice that all carpenters would do in this situation?

Thanks!

Ignore getting it to fit the curves with the studwork as straight lines and angled cuts will do and then cut the plasterboard to fit to the curve.
