Is there a glue out there that can attached two pieces of (u)pvc? I'm trying to hang a pvc conduit (to carry some cables) to the underside of a upvc roof cladding. Tried various silicones/glues but the conduit keeps falling off after a couple of days. I'm trying to avoid screwing the conduit to the cladding, if I can.

I would have thought silicone would have done it. Did you rough the surfaces prior to applying silicone?

Certainly did, tried different brands and even tried selotaping it in place to give it extra time to bond. Was going to try out the LookNoNails stuff today but on the back of the tube it says that "At least one surface must be porous" so I'm not so sure now. There must be some industrial strength adhesive out there that I can use?

Its on the outside so theres no joists to hang it off. Its all upvc cladding on the outside.

Try plumbers solvent weld pipe adhesive (on a scrap piece first of course)

Surely the cladding is fixed to battens somewhere? I think you'll find that it will be easier, and make less mess, if you screw the conduit on. And if the cables are electrical cables, better safe than sorry. There's probably something in the wiring regulations about mechanical fixings and supporting cables - I wouldn't think glue is allowed!

Silicone MUST be NEUTRAL CURING type...ie. not sanitary bath sealer.. also helps to wipe surface with uPVC cleaner.
