I found some dirty old chunks of wood in the garage from years ago and decided to use a wheel on a grinder to take them down and to try to make make a bowl.
Reasonably happy with it (still a bit of fine sanding to be done), and now think I might knock a few up and let my mate sell them on Etsy where he has a shop.
But, I have no idea what the wood is and think I ought to list that for sale. At a push, I would guess pine, but I realised I have no idea how to identify types of wood.
Can anyone please tell me based on these pics? btw it's not that heavy and it makes a nice crisp high sound when rapped with knuckles.
