Hello,
I am soon going to be connecting to a mains water source with Northumbria Water.
Initially I will be fitting a standpipe to make the connection, then later on I will need to lay the mains water pipe [50mm dia] across our land [approx 500m] towards our new build house to be.
In the path of the planned water pipe is a "natural"rainwater gulley which takes run off from the nearby field, down towards the stream. This gulley is about 2-3ft wide at the top and tapering 2ft deep.
Apart from either diverting the gulley or waiting until it might dry up during summer - are there any other good ways to lay the mains water pipe so that it can cross the gulley?
Thanks
