Hi lads and ladies ,
Whenever I buy cladding from B&Q, it always buckles and bends (even after following the instructions). It says to remove film and lie flat for 72 hours. Well, I do this but then the next time I see it, it is usually buckled (both sides curving inwards). It is really frustrating because it becomes really awkward to work with and practically unusable. I just end up chucking it on the bonfire . All it's good for .
Are there any tips to prevent buckling? I wasn't going to make a thread, I was going to PM Big-all (he seems to know a lot about wood ) but there is no PM feature here.
Do I have to glue it on both sides or just the back? Do I do this after 3 days or when I first unwrap it? Any other tips that would help me?
I mean, I did actually do some sealing with PVA glue today, but I couldn't leave the cladding for 3 days as I'm on a tight schedule and you know how stressful those can be .
Any advice would be marvellous .
Thank you .
