I built a plywood hopper for my EDPM flat roof. I had to modify the outlet location to the side, and fixed the 68mm round pipe with Sticks Like, and then re-resined it, and sealed the bottom again for good luck (Im terrible at fibregalss, so thats why it looks rough).

All good so far, but in heavy rain there is a leak through the ply to the underneath, that I'm pretty sure comes from around the pipe hole, and I later learnt resin doesn't bond to many adhesives. And it feels crunchy and soft around there.

What should I do? Being in Jersey, I don't have easy access to liquid rubber, nor uncured EDPM which was my initial though.

Any suggestions welcome before I pay an extortionate rate to get a 200mm circle of uncured EDPM and 250ml of primer shipped over. If I can fix it in the next 4 days dry weather, all the better!

Thanks
Tim

There are dedicated balcony outlets for this very purpose, which are fitted prior to the final coat.

Both are widely available.
I got a little further searching "balcony outlets", but they all seem to have square outlets, or a couple of round but not to match standard round downpipe sizes.

I'd be delighted for any links, as I'm drawing a blank!
