Hello all,

I've managed to get some expanding foam now dried onto grey/anthracite aluminum bifold doors, whats the best and trusted process to get this off?

I've used the plastic scraper but some of this is still holding on!

Thanks

How longer you leave it the harder it is to remove.

I don't think anything will remove dried foam other than a microfiber cloth and warm soppy water. Plenty of rubbing.
It's why you need plenty of masking tape prior to application, forgive. Just pointing out the obvious.

Foam dissolver will probably remove the powdered coat or coloured surfaces from the aluminium..

Thanks all.

Tried white spirit, just really concerned it will take the paint/powder coat off of the bifold.

Flame maybe but close to glass etc.

The foam remover has some reviews suggesting its removed paint in the past.

I used the remover on my window frames, no damage seen.
