Hello everyone,

I would like to change my door cylinder since I suspect someone has a copy of the key which was left by former tenant (Yes I know, stupid idea. I should have changed it long ago).

Well I tried to remove the cylinder in order to measure and order a more robust one like this one but unfortunately I can't get it out. There is no cylinder screw on the lock panel which should hold the cylinder in place. I have watched many YouTube videos but I can't get a similar model to my door as there are external screws on each side of the cylinder, and even after removing them I can't move it.

I have taken a few photos so that if someone knows how I can fix this, to kindly share the steps before I give up and hire someone for the job.

The current installed cylinder as per my keys is an EUROSPEC MP10 which I presume should be held by a middle fix screw but it's not there (apologies for the explanation, please check the photos). I'll really appreciate your insights.
Many thanks,
Joe

Try taking the long faceplate off the side of the door and there should be another screw which releases the barrel.
Excellent, will give it a try when I get home.
