How to remove notched screw?

Hi,

please see the mage below.

I cant figure out to remove this "screw" so that i can replace the cartridge?

it seems to have notches in it (red circles in the pic) - what tool do i need???

Ideally you need something like a pinwheel wrench but either a pair of flat bladed screwdrivers or very carefully use a pair of grips (don't damage the thread). Rotate anti-clockwise.

I assume you have turned off the supplies!?

"C" spanner.

Measure it and look in a cyclists tool shop.

It shouldn't be very tight anyway.

according to the place i got the cartridge from that bit should just PULL OFF????????????? i told her that sounded wrong but she was adamant....just going to try now.... will keep you updated.
