Hope in correct section.

Had new gaspipe run quite some time ago down side of house.

I never noticed but they just smashed the sill and render to accommodate the pipe - only noticed lately when we moved a bed at the inside of that wall and I see that the paint is bubbling...

Is there any easy way to protect the area or is this a job for pros? The pipe is quite flush to the wall. Not too worried about aesthetics.

Picture angle is up the wall to roof.

Thats a disgraceful job.
They could have bent the pipe to conform correctly or used a couple of 45 degree fittings.
The pipe work is a job for a Gas Safe to correct - a pretty simple straightforward piece of work.
When the pipe is removed for correction then the damage could be made good but anything else would be a temporary bit of filler of some kind.
