How to run Android apps on iphones

Does anyone know if it is possible to run Android apps on iphone? there is an app which I need but it is only available for android.

According to these responses there is no way to run android apps on an i-phone due to differing operating systems.

You can't BUT you can install Android on an iPhone, and then you can run android apps. Bit extreme for one app though...

Thank you for your reply, problem I have is that this app is for controlling my alarm and is only available for androids.

Then you buy yourself the cheapest PAYG phone you can find.

Hi, yes I have been toying with that idea too, I am thinking of a Samsung Galaxy from Tesco.
not worth taking the chance of messing up my iphone.

By installing Android OS on an iPhone, by definition, it's no longer an iPhone.
