Hello all
Anyone know a cheap and fast and easy way to stop the draft from my unused fireplace. Pic attached.
Thanks all in advance. 16446731680626697228384146179574.jpg

Thanks hoping for something to seal it off from the outside ie where the picture is.
Like a faux fireplace chalkboard for unused fireplace

Cut, or have cut a piece of 10mm ply to fit the wider part of the recess, it will be more robust than plasterboard, but don't forget a ventilation slot needs to be put in it.

Well I've cleaned it all out, but is there any kind of dust or dirt catcher I can put down?

You can use a chimney balloon to partly seal or put a board above opening set at angle to catch dust [but left 20-30mm shy of one wall to allow ventilation]
