Hi

I've had a problem with my shower leaking. I posted about it here, in the plumbing forum.

Anyway to fix the problem with the waste the shower tray needs to come out. To do that I'll need to remove just the bottom row of ceramic tiles which I will replace with new ones.

Can anyone give me advice on how to remove just the bottom row of tiles so I can remove the shower tray and then preparing the surface to be retiled after the problem with the waste is resolved.

Thanks

pick a tile and hit it in the middle

For insurance you may want to score round the adjacent grout

once you have smashed one tile the others should come off with a very wide bolster chiesel and a hammer
