Hi guys,

I need to install a channel drain in my garden but im left with a 500mm gap. What is the best way to cut a section of the drain down to length and join the end cap (the tongue and groove will naturally be cut off.

Ive googled but can seem to find specific info on it.

I wondered if there was a proper method rather than bodge it.

Thanks

There are usually marked cutting lines on the outside of them. Just choose the one that's slightly less than your required length, cut there then the end cap should clip onto the cut edge.
