I just noticed a tiny leak under my kitchen sink.

It is so tiny that once wiped away it takes forever for it to come back

I have attached some images and marked out where the leak is coming from.

What is the best/easiest way to deal with this?

Could be coming from the flange above. If not, undo that nut and pull the pipe out. Wrap some ptfe around the end of the pipe to make a grommet.
Reassemble and test.
You may find a rubber olive which can be used again.

It's definitely not coming from the flange above.

Would something like LSX be good in this case?

It looks like the plumber who assembled the sink used quite a bit on the black spigot type part.

I attached some additional images and you can see the leak now

Undo that nut and see if there's a conical rubber washer around the pipe in there.

th
I undid the nut. There was a washer in there.

It didn't look as good as the pictured.

However, I cleaned up the area as @jeff the gasman suggested, applied some LSX to the threads (as I had no ptf) then redid the joint

Gonna test it for leaks tomorrow

The threads create no part of the seal whatsoever and the LSX would’ve been better on the pipe.
The threads merely create compression.
I tried!

Update: fully tested and we are leak free

Admittedly, my job looks like a pigs ear, but the important thing is that there is no more water

Thanks for all the help guys.
