Hi all

Please can someone give me advice on how to trim around the swing legs as the lawn mower didn't work on it and the strimmer just snapped when it hit the metal legs.

Also having trouble getting the weeds and grass out between the paving slabs that you can see in pictures as the weed rake didn't work as its too tough.

Thanks all

Salt will kill the grasses but you will need something like Pathclear for the ones with tap roots (dandelions etc)

Some strimmers, include a wire cutting guard, designed to stop you getting too close to a solid object, and breaking the line - maybe buy one of those.

Literally never seen a strimmer without one! They also stop the strimmer shot-blasting you with detritus.
EDIT: I think HB means a stout wire loop out the front, I though he meant a foliage guard at the back.
