how to turn off the diverter valve on a vailant boiler

Hi all newbie here,i have a Vaillant ecotec plus 831,i need to know how to
turn the diverter valve off,i've done it before using the buttons on the boiler
but i cant remember how .

Also how do i get the needle on the pressure gauge out of the RED and back to showing Ten to Two

The boiler is seven years old

To what end? Hydraulically or electrically?

It explains in the installation instructions how to set the diverter valve
to permanant heating mode. You want d70.
