Howdens DIP3060 Doors

Hi guys

We're getting some of these doors fitted (they are laminate) and the carpenter has sent us a picture showing the internal wood colour rather than the grey. He said this is standard and Howdens supply a paint to colour but Ive looked on the manual for these and it says about a 10mm lip on all sides. Is the lip just the harder wood before you get to the mdf or should it be the grey colour we bought?
