HP PC with Dell monitor, possible?

Can I use a Dell S2209W monitor with a HP DX2400 PC? Do I need any special drivers or connectors?

The monitor has analogue and digital inputs so it will work fine with what you have.

Generally speaking, most monitors will work fine with most pc’s. Good pc’s these days tend to have DVI (digital) interfaces as well as VGA. (You can get a connector to use a VGA monitor on DVI output if needed). I would recommend that before anybody purchases a new monitor, they make sure it is supported by the current graphics card installed in the pc. I have had many cases where a user upgrades their monitor (usually to a large wide screen) and then have to upgrade the graphics adapter as well (resolution issues).
