hudson reed shower

hi there!
have had a hudson reed 3/4 double exposed shower valve installed for around a year and it's juat recently gone cold!
the feed in(on ther left) is hot but the shower is still freezing!
....help!!! do i need a new valve or what?

Probably just need the filter cleaning

the thermostatic cartridge is stuck.
turn the control to fully hot then fully cold a few time it can free them.
if it doesn't you can remove the cartridge and soak in limescale remover sometime work if not just get a new cartridge.
they seize cause the control just gets left in the same position and should be moved fully each way now and then to keep them free.

ok so if it's the cartridge ..are they expensive and easy to fit?
