Winter is setting in properly now, and I've noticed that our house is getting chilly with endless drafts from the old-fashioned, sash windows.
We've already have the downstairs windows ripped out a new double glazing units placed in.
But of course it was very expensive, and we can't afford to do the upstairs windows too.
So, I successfully found a good work-around, inexpensive secondary glazing solution.
Using clear perspex and magnetic tape.
Measure the window frames, in order 4mm clear acrylic from your local factory. Taking care to measure very carefully. Cuts down drafts dramatically nd keeps in warm air.
Negates the forming of condensation in the inside of the glass panes as well
