Humax Freeview PVR-8000t lost menu options

Help........My Humax freeview box has all of a sudden lost 2 options from the menu..........i can no longer select recoreded programmes or record scheduling......i have not done anything to cause this......

....any one had similar problems or know of best place for advice ?

Yes, this means the unit can't detect the HDD or that the HDD has failed.

Check the IDE and power cables going to the HDD, if these are fine then the HDD has failed but can easily be replaced.

Humax help got back to me and suggested disconnecting the box from the mains for 10 mins or so......i did this and it worked, all menu items fully restored.

Whilst i dont know you personally you come over as being very sarcastic.Dont know if its in your nature but....You replied too a thread of mine yesterday and came over very condesending .Dont take the pi*s please.not everyone is up to "standard"
