J JohnD Joined 15 Nov 2005 Messages 92,677 Reaction score 7,260 Location South Country 17 Feb 2009 #2 it is quite common that older players will play "factory" CDs and DVDs, but not "home-made" ones. you have more chance with a CD-R than a CD-RW. obviously you have to record it in "CD" format not any other kind of sound file
