I saw this, and could not help but take a photo. Beofre anyone says anything derogitry about taken a camera into a public convenience - It has already crossed my mind, so pointless making jokes

What did this spark think he was achieving?

The galv conduit I guess used to supply a mains operated cystermisor, now gone. The pipework is obviously thr drop to the urinal 'trough'.

Nice bit of 10mm earth bonding one to the other, with no attempt for any neatness and no attempt to secure the cable.

My question is simply WHY? I am lost as to what they thought they where achieving by bonding this, and lost for words over the quality of the work!

Even if it did, the drain may have needed to be main equipotentially bonded, not a crappy piece of wire slung from a conduit to the flush pipe. My guess is a 15th edition addition!! For some reason they went around and bonded the upstands on all the sinks when I was at school :D

Eeeh, when I were at skool, it were't 14th.....

My Grandmother's house had bonding to all metal window frames, wiuth a dinky link from the frame to the opening lights....

The thinking there could well be trapped lawn mower flexes... I think it was Lec with the story about the council who spec'd it after a guy a few houses down from one he was working in killed himself this way?

Just to make you feel better, I'd have been at (nursery) school when the 14th edition was out
