I have a old toy box but the old hinge to it is absolutely rubbish. I've fitted some lifting shocks to it but the hinge only lasted a few days before it ripped out.

I need new hinges for it. Something strong and flush.

I saw this and wondered what the name of it is or where I can get them from as they seem ideal for the job in hand..

Thoughts?

You need a hinge that will allow the flap to fall all the way back.

Piano hinge is usual.

It already has a long thin piano hinge. Over the years its ruined the wood where it attaches too. I need something like the pic I uploaded, so it also screws to the inside of the box giving much more support...

Can you put a strip of new wood there to add more support to the hinge(s) and the screws being used on them?

I could have but I've obtained the hinges in my first post now and it works great again.
