I need help with selecting a computer system

I need help with what to select for a new PC system. My requirements are:

1. just a basic PC, (with as much software as needed pre-installed.)
2. i only do the internet
e-mail
listen to music ( i have a couple of speakers)
and watch the occasional video/DVD


Any helpful suggestions would be gratefully received.

I'm a complete learner in the audio/digital field.

I got one of these last year and it is quite suitable for what you want.
Mine came with 3GB RAM and it now looks to only have 2GB but that is more than enough for running Win7 for you.

It comes with (iirc) 60 trial of Office but depending upon whether MS Works will do for you, just buy a Works v9 disk for about £25.

You can install your own choice of free security software.

If £370 is more than you planned to spend, how much had you in mind to lay out?
