I want this media wall that I’ve just assembled to sit flush against the wall. At the moment the skirting board is preventing that. What’s the best way to solve this?
I would cut the media unit, the only two neat cuts you need to do are the two end panels, the rest can be cut slightly oversized. Cutting the skirting will leave an empty wall and mess when you eventually move house or tire of that unit. I would hazard that to get it flush you'll also have to fix it back to the wall and perhaps add some spacers under the front of the unit, houses/levels being what they are.
