I fitted an icon 30s 12V fan to the bathroom. The old one is a model 15 with 220V connection. I didn’t realized the old one is 220V, I thought it must be a 12V fan as my house is a new built.
Anyway, I connected the fan directly with 220V and circuit tripped and the lighting switch also damaged.
I replaced the switch and circuit not tripping anymore. When switching on, the shutter opened but not the fan.
Would it be the case the motor had been blowed as the shutter can opened meaning that the power supply is okay.
Anyone can help me with this ?
