Ideal Classic FF230 Boiler not firing up correctly

I have an Ideal Classic FF230 boiler, which is a combo boiler for both the central heating and hot water. The problem is when the boiler hasn't been on for a few hours, it wont fire up correctly. When it switches on, the extractor fan starts and then there is a loud buzzing noise from the base of the boiler. There is a clicking noise, which I assume is the spark to light the boiler. After about 5 minutes of doing this, the boiler suddenly fires up and works correctly. After that, the boiler is fine and no noises. It all fires up okay.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
