Hi my boiler wont light, is there anything I can check myself before having to call someone out.

I think that your model lights the gas when there is a call for heat.
All you can do is confirm there is a gas supply for example by having a working gas cooker.
Otherwise a gas engineer!
I suppose you have not bothered to get it serviced?

Havent had it serviced in the last 12 months, the gas cookers working just no pilot light on the boiler.

Sorry Catherine, but we have a housing estate quite near our office and we replaced loads of fans on these boilers last Winter. perhaps you could say that to your engineer, it MAY save him a return trip.
