ideal classic ff360

Hi hope you can help ive got a ideal classic ff360 boiler and it wont ignite ive had a look at the cct board and found a resistor type thing that seems to be flashing inside!! dont think this is right but want to make sure before going spending £100 on a new board.Any help would be nice.

Your resistor type thing is the spark generator and probably the lead is arcing on the case somewhere I would guess.

They're meant to flash inside.
Could be no gas - you need a Corgi.
