Hi all this is my first post here.
Basically I'm having a problem with my boiler. We moved into our new house about 3 months ago and have only been using the boiler for hot water as the heating has not been needed.
I turned the heating on for the first time last week to make sure it works and all was fine.
However, I went to turn the hearing on again yesterday and nothing happend. Now the boiler has gone out and I can get it to light again, not even for water.

The boiler is getting power, the temperature dial works fine as it clicks when the heating is on.
The reset button on the side is solid, I've been told this only pops out if the boiler has overheated.
The boiler makes a sound when turned on as if it is going to fire up, it clicks twice and then hums but no flame is visible through the sightglass.

Anyone got any thoughts on this.

Hi Lal321,
I've got the exact same problem with my Ideal Classic SE15 FF boiler. Were you able to resolve this problem yourself or did you have to call the professionals in?
Many thanks,
leokottke.
