Ideal isar combi problem

Hi have a Ideal isar m30100 combi boiler,

Have L.F flame tetection,flashing on user contol.

Instructions say replace flame tectection electode,this I did and worked great for about 5 wks,then flashing returned again.

Befor boiler goes out boiler casing vibrates as though flu gasping for air

Would appreciate any comments.

Could be the fan then if noisy and vibtaring.

L : F just means the boiler has not detected a flame withing the allotted time span.

Could be something simple like the working pressure on your meter govenor is too low to ignite the gas in the boiler.

Get a CORGI in to check the flueways and clean the heat-exchanger/burner.

and do a gas pressure test as LF also appears when gas is insufficient

Can govenor be ajusted or must I replace,cheers

Only NG can come out and check this and replace if needed. They come out free to do this.

This fellow does not want to call a CORGI !

It sounds as if the mixture is too weak.

Needs an FGA check to confirm.
