Ideal Isar Status 'p' ?

Can someone tell why my Ideal Isar is showing 'p' in the display ?. I have tried switching it off and back on but it still shows 'p'

Does the fan start?
My guess is it is actually a fan error and the display is wrong.
You need to hit the reset button on the boiler. I don't think
switching on and off will have any affect.

How long have you had the boiler?

The boiler has been running for about 4 years . It does sound as if a fan is running ! I have pressed reset and it doesn't appear to make any differance.

This is not a fault, the boiler is in frost protection mode

Is it in a garage or boiler house by any chance?
