Hi Guys,
I have an Ideal Logic Heat 15 combi boiler in the kitchen and the hot water tank on the first floor.
Around 6 months ago I noticed that the full loop was working sporadically. This has now stopped working entirely.

On further inspection I have now found that the boiler in the kitchen is leaking from underneath.

The boiler is due for a service. Is there any chance these issues are linked as I'd like to be able to position the issues with a prospective plumber rather than be at their mercy.

The boiler is leaking from the plastic cap in the attached picture.

Thanks in advance.

A. It's not a combi
B. Fill valve not working, loop blocked
C. The logic flue hood leaking, condensate trap blocked or backing up.
D. Nothing you can do.

Thanks for the info. I was mid-Google search when I typed combi boiler.

So the fill loop just needs replacing?

There nothing that can be done to resolve the dripping/leaking from the flue?

Oh dear?

Is that an Oh dear to my simplistic questions or the boiler situation?

I'm a complete novice when it comes to plumbing so any help or direction is appreciated Guys.

Thanks.
