Hi,
13 years old Logic Heat 24 is throwing an intermittent L2 error. Most often a reset will not work, but just occasionally it does. Located in Utility room , clean and dry, no corrosion or dirt anywhere.
Spark generator was exchanged circa 3 years ago.
No signs of corrosion/dirt or residue build up on the igniter or flame sensor.
Fan working, although slight grinding noise on start/stop. Venturi clean and smooth and gas injector clean and residue free.
The condensate pipe is clean and not blocked, and the condensate Trap is absolutely clean and clear of all debris. No water came out when inspection cover removed and trap operation tested by pouring some water into the sump, drained perfectly. Sump not visibly cracked/leaking.
Tested with a multimeter and 4kOhms between top and bottom terminal on the 230V Gas Valve.
The main PCB has been exchanged with correct CCB attached…..fired immediately, worked for a few hours, switching on and off, then L2 fault re-occurred, no amount of resetting would get it to work….until half a day later and it now is currently firing up.
No issues with pressures in the Gas hob located nearby or Gas fire in the lounge
Any ideas what to do next?
