does anyone know why my boiler goes into shutdown ,had diaphram replaced in the diverter valve,when i tried to fire it up it stays on for a few seconds then shuts down,yesterday it stayed on for ages but this morning its staying on for a few seconds again could the ignition pcb be faulty

Who replaced the part and why?

If it was to cure that fault then it would not so call him back.

It could be the ignition pcb but might be other things too. Really needs good gas engineer.

the fault was the hot water would come on then go cold or go off altogether

Is the red light coming on?

Is it exactly the same symptom as before?

If so then it sounds as if that repair was not for the cause. Call him back!

yes the red light comes on it did stay on yesterday for a while but today nothing ,do you think if water got onto the pcb this could cause it to happen and sorry when it did fire up heating and hot water was fine
