ideal sprint rs75 combi boiler

can anyone help i have an ideal sprint combi boiler and sometime when i have a shower or open sink in bathroom the water runs cold and the boiler wont light. to light the boiler i have to go into the kitchen and run the hot water tap on the sink for about 2 mins the boiler light instantly then i got back to the shower turn it on, water heats up i close kitchen sink tap then have my shower. does anyone know what part is faulty on my boiler.

By flowswitch he means divertor valve. can either change whole valve or get a sevice kit with new diaphragm etc
