My kitchen extension cavity back wall is a continuation of the existing solid kitchen wall. I can easily use wall starters for the outer skin, but the inner skin is not over the solid wall due to the cavity width. Any suggestions?
Any ideas? Or can I just build up the inner skin not tied in?
Another option is to build a small return on that edge.... would BC be happy with that cold bridge?
on ours the overhang was on the outside (due to adding external insulation to the existing wall) and they just used fishtail ties screwed in at an angle which the SE said was ok. View attachment 123103
