My kitchen extension cavity back wall is a continuation of the existing solid kitchen wall. I can easily use wall starters for the outer skin, but the inner skin is not over the solid wall due to the cavity width. Any suggestions?

Any ideas? Or can I just build up the inner skin not tied in?
Another option is to build a small return on that edge.... would BC be happy with that cold bridge?

Tie it to the outer leaf every 225mm

Fish tail ties on edge, or a vertical timber on the edge of the new blockwork so that you can fix to the new blockwork and the existing wall.

Like the idea of a vertical timber fixed to the new block edge and the existing wall.

Cheers

So the wire bit of the tie goes in the mortar joint and the plate bit screws onto the existing wall?
Yes the plate bit onto the corner, so hook the right angle on and screw to the face of the wall then mortar in the wire
