identification of material!

Hi, I'm not a diy'er more computers so will try to help in that forum! I have come across some material I have been told may be asbestos by a neighbor! its in the garden under an old patio which I am about to rip up and replace. I have attached a picture! There is a lot of it under the patio! Any help identifying would be helpful

It looks like Old Asbestolux boarding, you will probably be able to bag it up and take it to your local tip.

Thanks for the swift response. I'll have a read up on it. Some mixed thoughts on it online but Ill do more research.

it's embedded in the concrete of the Patio so in order to remove it I will be smashing the old concrete and either getting rid of it or laying the new patio on top once broken up. Will I have to be carefull not to break this board up?

As the link states there is no real danger with Asbestolux boarding .

However if you wish to have Specialist Asbestos demolition team in to dispose of it thats up you.
