Identify wood type and best oil

Hi,

Looking for help identifying type of wood - is this furniture made of teak? Chair in the picture not sanded yet - table top is.

Should I only use teak oil on this? Or will Danish oil have same effect?

I will probably just use an oil to bring out the same colour but I f I chose to darken it, should I use a dark oil?

It certainly looks like it could be teak. In which case maybe teak oil or Danish oil (both of which contain a fair old amount of linseed oil and often tung oil) - the difference is that teak oil dries to a matt finish whilst Danish oil dries to a satin sheen. Both traditional finishes for this type of furniture, but there are some alternatives like polymerised tung oil and hard waxoyl as well which you might prefer
